Our Mission
Keeping the Spirit of the Cowgirl alive by sharing the magic of horses and the Western culture with young girls!
We ride in loving memory of Violet, our smallest cowgirl who never got to saddle up!

We are building a legacy for the next generation of Cowgirls with the transformative power of horses.
The bond between a young girl and a horse is life-changing.

It instills quiet confidence, profound responsibility, and a healthy emotional foundation that lasts a lifetime.
Through the generosity of many who believe in this mission,
we are offering 7 scholarships
to girls between the ages of 7-12 in the Casper and Cheyenne areas.
Applications open July 7, Violet’s Birthday. They will close August 8.
Each scholarship will include the following:
-
A full year of horseback riding lessons and horse care instruction by insured instructors.
-
Cowgirl gear: a purple Cowboy hat, a pair of purple Cowboy boots, a purple riding jacket, and a custom designed Violet saddle pad.
-
Western art lessons taught by Roslan Fichtner-Marx, a professional artist and illustrator.

After the completion of a successful year each Cowgirl will earn a Violet Cowgirl Buckle.

Our Heart

Behind the mission
On July 7, 2025, Violet Mary Diane was born and on July 13, she went to be with Jesus.
Violet is the heart behind this important mission as we create a legacy in her name.
Her short seven days of life rocked hundreds of peoples’ faith.
We were devastated to lose her so soon, but we have chosen to Cowgirl Up and use the strength she gifted with us to help young Cowgirls’ dreams come true!
